Faux-spooky. Tris McCall a music writer I respect said this of it:
"You Can't Beat The Devil" is about the most arresting - luckily, it's playful-horrifying, like a Romero movie. It comes right in the middle of the EP, and framed as it is by some sterling pop-song construction, it never feels like an indulgence. Instead, like most of the wigged-out excursions on the set, it's a creepy mood-setter."
Originally released as part of a 7 song EP in 2008 under the name Efrain Calderon.
lyrics
She said: "I think you should start thinking about failure"
You of all people, should know better
You can ward off the demons
But you can't beat the devil.
